Venue and dates


The Workshop will be held in the Guitart Gran Hotel Monterrey in the municipality of Lloret de Mar (Girona) on 19-20 October 2005. The coastal village of Lloret de Mar is located on Southern Costa Brava some 80 km north east of Barcelona and some 45 km south of Girona. Lloret de Mar can be easily accessed by car, taxi or bus (SARFA bus company, Tel. 972-364295). In Barcelona, buses with destination to Lloret de Mar depart from the Estación del Norte, whereas in Girona they depart from the main bus station located beside the RENFE train station.

Tips for travelling from Barcelona airport to Lloret de Mar (and back)

* Take a city train at the airport until the stop named Arc de Triomf (http://www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona/index_horarios.html). These trains run every 30 minutes between 6 and 24 h.

* At the Arc de Triomf station, go out through the gate to Nàpols street, which goes directly to the bus station, called Estació del Nord.

* From the Lloret de Mar bus station (beginning of Avinguda Tossa - Tossa Avenue-) until the Gran Hotel Monterey (also Avinguda Tossa) there are 200 m and it takes less than 10 minutes by foot.
